In a little village of
Cameroon, like many other villages around the world, Early Marriage has
proven the weakness of present day Democratic Governments.
“The Government can’t solve all problems” – some people think. One can
easily figure out that, it is powerfully able help the wealthy rig
elections, render the majority voiceless, maintain the wealthy in
power, widen the gap between the rich and poor, promote corruption and
give a blind eye to the basic necessities of Human Beings

Opposition Leaders Call On Biya To Declare Assets
By Elias Ngalame Ntungwe
Leaders
of some key opposition political parties in Cameroon have successively
added their voices to the current debate on foreign reports about
President Paul Biya's fortune. They have urged Paul Biya to declare his
assets according to article 66 of the 1996 constitution to save himself
the trouble of any further victimisation.
At a press conference in
Yaounde on Monday 29 June 2009, CDU leader, Adamu Ndam Njoya said, the
constitution in article 66 was very clear on the issue of declaration
of assets by those holding public office but has never been respected.
He said Cameroonians would not have had any problem with such a report
if the President of the Republic had taken the lead to respect the
constitution by declaring his assets.
