 19 étrangers dont 7 Camerounais sont arrivés à Kribi vendredi dernier 20 février 2010. 

Les autorités Equato-guinéennes continuent d’expulser de leur pays les étrangers. Pour le seul mois de février 2010, deux contingents constitués essentiellement de Maliens et Camerounais ont été reconduits aux frontières maritimes. Le premier était de 12 étrangers (7 Maliens et 5 Camerounais) a été accueilli le 1er février dernier dans la ville de Campo par le sous-préfet de cette unité administrative du département de l’Océan, région du Sud. Après les procédures d’usage, le chef de terre a facilité leur transfert vers leurs familles et communautés respectives. Le second est celui de samedi dernier, 20 février. Il est constitué de 19 étrangers (12 Maliens et 7 Camerounais).

An Italian village is hoping to reverse its population decline by welcoming refugees from around the world. The immigrants get free room and board and are expected to work and learn Italian in return. The project is proving highly successful — but the local Mafia aren't happy.

Domenico Lucano, a 51-year-old man, is the mayor of Riace, Italy. The village — with its three churches, two patron saints, sheep grazing on the surrounding hillsides and tangerine trees growing in the valleys — is like a corn on the sole of the foot of the Calabria region.
